exist as compared with the area stated in these conditions, the amount to be paid by or to be refunded to the lessee in respect of such excess or deficiency will be calculated at the rate of 65 cents per square foot. Crow rent will be adjusted at the rate of $300.00

per acre per annum,

In view of the fact that the area show

colcured red on the plan is slightly smaller than the lot originally sold as Garden Lot 36, the reduction being caused by the necessity for improving the alignment of roads in the vicinity, it will be expedient to add a further clause as

follows to the above conditions:-

(n). The area stated in the foregoing conditiona and defined as shown red on accompanying plan to be accepted by the Lessee as the correct area of the lot, subject to any minor adjustment on the preparation of Lease Plans, notwithstanding any discrepancy between

such area and the area stated in the Sale Conditions of

Garden Lot No. 36; and no compensation or refund to be claimed by the Lessee or paid by the Government on account of or by reason of such discrepancy.
